Understand the Teaching Purpose of the Course from the Influence of Culture on Architectural Aesthetics

Xiaomei Li

The understanding of architecture is multi-dimensional, for it is not only the social and economic products of a
specific historical period, but also the carrier of cultural inheritance. With the development of Chinese economy and
social progress, Chinese traditional culture plays an increasingly important role in world culture, which makes people
pay more and more attention to the application of Chinese traditional culture in architectural planning and design. In
the process of cultivating professional talents,"Architectural Aesthetics" has become a required course. The core of the
course is to guide students to consciously apply aesthetic theories in the process of architectural planning and design,
especially those under the influence of Chinese culture.
