Philosophy of Laozi and Zhuangzi and Its Modern Value

Abstract


There are many schools of thought in Chinese history, among which the Taoist School has a profound influence on Chinese ideology and culture. Its representatives are Laozi and Zhuangzi. Taoist thought is broad and profound, mainly discusses the law of the formation of all things in the world and the pursuit of the value of life. The charm of Laozi's and Zhuangzi's thoughts lies in promoting the continuous development and progress of human beings, and at the same time, they also provide people with spiritual comfort and a temporary release from the fast-paced and stressful modern life. The study of Lao Zhuang's philosophy plays an important role in the development of modern society.
