A Brief Analysis of the Role of Chinese Culture in English Phonetics Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges

Abstract


The Chinese national culture has a long history, and the traditional culture is the essence of it, which is also the cultural content that our students must master. Combined with the situation of higher vocational teaching, this paper points out the role of Chinese culture in teaching in detail, and puts forward the implementation path of culture infiltrating into higher vocational English phonetics teaching, which mainly includes deepening the teaching reform, creating a learning environment, changing teaching concepts, and improving teaching methods, aiming to provide an effective reference for the development of higher vocational English teaching.
