Research on the Integration of Logical Thinking and Image Thinking in Ancient Chinese Literature

Abstract


Chinese ancient literature has a long history and is an important part of Chinese traditional culture. Compared with the pure logic in western literature, Chinese ancient literature can highlight “image thinking”. In most ancient Chinese literary works, we can feel the integration of “logical thinking” and “image thinking”. This paper focuses on “logical thinking and image thinking in reasoning” and “logical thinking and image thinking in emotion”, hoping to provide some suggestions for contemporary literati creation through the integration of logical thinking and image thinking in ancient Chinese literature.
