The Influence of Vocational College Skills Competition on the Implementation of Production and Education Integration Teaching for Hotel Management Specialty in Higher Vocational Colleges

Abstract

The improvement of social and economic level promotes the rapid development of various fields in the country. In recent years, tourism and hotel industry are booming, and the society is short of excellent hotel management talents. Vocational colleges are the leaders of vocational education, and also the main base of hotel management personnel transportation; and the national vocational college skills competition is a test standard to weigh the quality of professional personnel training, and is one of the effective ways to improve the quality of vocational personnel training. Through participating in the national vocational college skills competition, we can timely understand the talent demand of the hotel industry, learn more hotel service skills and experience, and integrate them into the teaching of hotel management specialty, which has an important guiding role in cultivating students’ professional skills and comprehensive quality; at the same time, for the hotel industry, the platform of vocational skills competition is more conducive to selecting excellent hotel management personnel.
