Application of Interactive Teaching in Junior Middle School English Teaching Practice

Abstract


Interaction is an indispensable part of teaching. Only through interaction can the teacher better understand the students' thoughts and the students' knowledge base and learning ability. Only when students can better understand the content of the text can the problems encountered in the learning process be discovered and solved. Both for teachers and students, interactive teaching is important and necessary. At the junior high school stage, due to the greater pressure of entering a higher education, many teachers choose to compress and squeeze the time of interactive teaching, and spend more time on the explanation of knowledge points and spot checks and recitations. Little do they know that such behavior is not sensible. This article analyzes and summarizes the current situation of interactive teaching in junior high school English teaching and its causes and effects, and provides suggestions for the development of interactive teaching in junior high school English teaching from the perspective of classroom interaction and extracurricular interaction.
