An Exploration of the Teaching Mode of College English Reading Based on Discourse Analysis

Abstract


This paper started with the current situation of teaching on college English reading of existing problems, based on the theory of systemic functional grammar, and applied discourse analysis to English reading teaching, formed a new reading teaching pattern organically combining thematic information analysis, Textual structure analysis, cohesion analysis of discourse and scenario analysis, which provides important enlightenment for English reading teaching.
