Cultivation of Postgraduates' English Academic Ability Based on Problem Based Learning

Abstract

With the advancement of the new round of educational reform, the teaching objectives of each stage have undergone reversed changes. In the past, teaching was mainly carried out with students' scores as the core content, but from the perspective of the new era, the development of students' comprehensive ability has received high attention. It has become the core goal of educational activities. “Problem based learning” for short PBL is a new teaching model from the perspective of deepening teaching reform. The characteristic of this kind of teaching is interdisciplinary project-based teaching. In this teaching environment, students' thinking and ability can be comprehensively developed and improved. Graduate students have higher education, but they still have a lot of room for academic development. In education, relevant personnel should actively use modern teaching tools and implant PLB project-based teaching mode in educational activities to promote talent cultivation and development. This article will focus on the cultivation of Postgraduates' English academic ability under the problem-based learning model.
