Research on Influence of Circumferential Reinforcement Structure on Impact Resistance of Ultra-high Performance Concrete Poles

Huazhi Zhou

Abstract

The bearing capacity and impact resistance of ultra-high performance concrete poles (wall thickness less than 30mm) with different spiral rib diameters, different spiral rib spacings and different erect spacings were studied. The effects of spiral rib diameter, spiral rib spacing and erection ring spacing on the bearing capacity and impact resistance of ultra high performance concrete poles are discussed. Tests show that increasing the diameter of the spiral ribs and reducing the spacing of the spiral ribs can improve the bearing capacity and impact resistance of the ultra-high performance concrete poles, and reducing the spacing of the erecting rings can improve the impact resistance of the ultra-high performance concrete poles.
