The Introduction of the Special Issue

Geographical information systems have become increasingly widespread in the sciences and techniques in last decades. They embracing almost all disciplines and can be used effectively in various applications.

Land and environmental sciences, construction science, science science and all geosciences use similar approaches in various fields.

GIS, BIM and AI integrations allow new methods for planning, design and monitoring the territory.

This special issue is dedicated to research carried out in the field of geoscience with GIS applications that have implication in other branches of science and using the approach of information systems.
