Research on Big Data Empowerment of English Translation Ability Cultivation for College Students

Abstract


College English translation teaching is one of the most important basic language teaching contents in college, and it is also an important way to cultivate college students’ English translation ability. With the arrival of the big data era, the intelligent teaching mode driven by big data empowerment has become one of the main directions of education and teaching reform and innovation. This paper discusses the cultivation of English translation ability of college students empowered by big data, the integration of advanced information technology into the translation teaching content, teaching methods and teaching evaluation, so as to cultivate students’ ability of independent learning and deep learning, with a view to providing useful reference for the cultivation of English translation ability of college students.
