Perspective and Reflection on the Development of Chinese Language and Literature from the Perspective of New Liberal Arts

Abstract


The establishment of “new liberal arts” has put forward new standards and requirements for the progress of traditional liberal arts majors, and triggered a series of new thinking and practice on the construction of Chinese language and literature in universities. The goal is to realize the integration and promotion of knowledge, improve the quality and practicability of talent training, and meet the needs of society for talents. Under the concept of “new liberal arts”, the Chinese language and literature major in universities should adhere to the problem orientation according to the cultivation needs of students’ overall quality, innovation ability and practical application ability, and start from the aspects of goal setting, curriculum arrangement, teaching methods and teacher quality construction, so as to ensure the consistency of the knowledge structure of professional talents and social needs.
