Juan Gao, Tao Li, Chunlian Gao, Sheng Liu

Abstract

With the continuous development of network technology, the era of big data is coming. From the perspective of economic statistics, there are two major challenges in the development of big data. First is the change in the way data are collected, which no longer relies on random sampling. Second, the original analysis methods and traditional tools are no longer suitable for semi-structured data and unstructured data analysis. In order to meet the development requirements of the big data era, we should adjust the construction plan for the major of economic statistics based on big data. This paper mainly discusses the teaching reform of economic statistics major in the era of big data.
