The Cultivation of Intercultural Communication Ability in Local College English Teaching

Abstract


The rapid development of the times has made society more demanding on emerging talents with cross-cultural communication skills. Therefore, how the teachers of local colleges and universities can provide students with the necessary cross- cultural communication skills in the process of teaching solid English knowledge is the problem studied in this article. The author starts from the obstacles that foster the cross-cultural communicative competence of teachers in local colleges and universities in the development of English classrooms, and finds effective ways of nurturing, so that students can get better development.
