A Discussion of the Employment Supply-Demand Connection of Graduates Majoring in Non-Universal Languages in the Post-Pandemic Era--Taking Central and Eastern European Languages as Examples

Abstract


In the post-pandemic era, college graduates encounter a serious employment. An all-round, accurate and deep employment supply-demand connection is of significance in alleviating the difficulty of finding a job for students, solving the difficulty of recruiting people in units, and overcoming the difficulty of training in colleges and universities.However, the facts remains that the employment supply-demand connection of graduate major in non-universal languages is to be improved in the aspect of efficiency. Taking languages in Central and Eastern European as an example, this paper explores and finds that there are three problems in the employment supply-demand connection of non-universal languages: graduates can’t always successfully find jobs through the recruitment channel, the companies sometimes can’t recruit enough talents demand is not matched, and the top-level design needs to be optimized. In this regard, it puts forward three suggestions to optimize the connection between supply-demand of targeted talents, that is, building a special platform for supply-demand connection, implementing targeted talent training, and establishing an overall research and judgment mechanism.
