The Influence and Illumination of Second Language Acquisition Theory on Foreign Language Teaching

Abstract

Now the study of second language acquisition has indeed injected many new concepts into language teaching and triggered many new pedagogy.Second language acquisition has its own rules，which should be followed in language teaching.The theory of second language acquisition has an extremely important influence on modern foreign language teaching.It provides important theoretical basis and practical guidance for foreign language teaching. Different views contribute to the research and development of second language acquisition.At present，the main problems to be solved in foreign language teaching in China are how to improve the quantity and quality of language input and how to give full play to the learning enthusiasm of learners.
