On the Abilities Training Mechanism of College Foreign Language Teachers under the Framework of TPCK Theory

Abstract


Teachers’ abilities are the key point to their teaching practice. At present, the uneven abilities of foreign language teachers in colleges is not only due to the weak basic theoretical knowledge, but also the lack of efficient ability training mechanism. TPCK theoretical framework can achieve the integration of technology, teaching method and teaching content, so as to create a new form of knowledge. This paper analyzes the theoretical framework and practical application of TPCK to explore the improvement of the ability training mechanism of college foreign language teachers.
