Yifan Zhang

Abstract

With the rapid development of the Internet era, the application of information technology and psychological theories in the field of education has changed the teaching philosophy of the education community. The blended teaching mode combining classroom and online self-directed learning has become the mainstream teaching mode in universities. Electronic textbooks make up for the shortcomings of traditional teaching methods and paper textbooks. By redesigning the learning resources of the textbooks, they will better adapt to learners with different abilities, knowledge, or learning styles and strategies. This study is no longer limited to the learning content in traditional textbooks, but is more in line with the educational development trend of personalized learning in today's era, and is also an inevitable trend of textbook reform. Based on the characteristics of hybrid teaching, a new electronic textbook is still in the exploratory stage, and proposes design principles such as content as the core, task and goal matching, diversified information presentation methods, and balance between tradition and innovation, Improve the design and functional modules of electronic textbooks.
