A Comparative Analysis of Smart Education in China and Other Countries:Trends and Features

Abstract


The update information and communication technology promote the development of smart education, and the research on smart education is also constantly enriched, showing new trends and features. This paper sorts out the Chinese and English literature on the topic of smart education, summarizes the current research progress, and analyzes the commonalities and diff erences in China and other countries. The results found: (i) a large number of countries have formulated strategies and projects to develop smart education; (ii) smart education integrate information technology with teaching to cultivates smart talents for the future; (iii) the achievements of smart education benefit multiple disciplines; (iv) the development of smart education promotes the cooperation of the academic community and also forms competition among international educational institutions.
