Bio Statement  

Dr. Ince-Yenilmez completed her BA in Business Administration and MA in Banking and Finance at Eastern Mediterranean University. She completed her PhD degree in Economics at Afyon Kocatepe University. She was Visiting Professor at Department of Sociology at University of Cambridge, Cambridge, UK from September 2011 to July 2012, was Visiting Scholar at University of California at Berkeley from August 2014 to August 2016 and was Visiting Professor at University of Gottingen at Gottingen, Germany from July 2016 to September 2016. She gave various courses at undergraduate and graduate levels at these Institutions.
She is accomplished educationalist and researcher with over 15 years of experience in education institutions around the world. She has researched and extensively published on her specialist subjects of economics and related gender issues. Her recent projects and publications have included: the economic and social consequences of unemployment, women’s empowerment, job insecurity, gender differences in working conditions and intersectionality, women in political life and gender convergence in domestic work. She is currently working on a book manuscript based on economic empowerment of women in Turkey.
