In the process of combating the Newcastle pneumonia epidemic, shutdown measures taken by countries may harm the legitimate interests of foreign investors, and when foreign investors use the international investment dispute settlement (ISDS) mechanism to arbitrate with the host country, the purpose of international investment agreements (IIAs), which tends to protect the interests of investors, tends to be constantly expanded and used to the neglect of the host country's regulatory power. This is due both to the lack of clarity of certain provisions and to the inherent flaws of the ISDS mechanism. China should actively study the new changes in international investment rules, so that China can more favorably balance the interests of investors and host countries in the process of negotiating international investment agreements, and effectively safeguard the right of national regulation. |

Social entrepreneurship has dual objectives, integrating non-profit goals and market-based techniques to offer new solutions to social issues. The concept was introduced to China in the early twenty-first century and has been evolving greatly since then. There are various barriers preventing social enterprises from adopting diversified financing instruments. Most social ventures in developed countries present an excessive reliance on grant financing. However, our understanding of how social entrepreneurs are managing financing barriers in the social context of China, an emerging economy with a strong central government, remains rather fragmented. This paper fills the gap in the literature by using a qualitative case study approach to analyze the solutions of three social enterprises in the Chinese social context to overcome financing difficulties. |

Research in higher education has concentrated on several areas, including the values and collective identities of academic faculty, their role in higher education governance, faculty norms and socialization processes, and the impact of change in higher education on academic positions. While many authors advocate the research methodology that should be used in such investigations, few question how academics come to possess the constructs and ideas that inform their professional identity. Discipline-based cultures are the primary source of faculty members’ identity and expertise. They include assumptions about what is to be known and how tasks should be performed, standards for effective performance, a sense of belonging, professional interaction, and social and political status. The three research objectives are; to explore the structural dimension of teachers’ professional identity in Chinese private colleges, to compile a professional identity scale suitable for private college teachers, and to construct an integrated model of the influence effect of college teacher professional identity. |

From the perspective of Chinese traditional culture and Marxist theory, this paper traces the theoretical source of material and spiritual common prosperity and analyzes the evolutionary path of the relationship between material and spiritual civilization in Zhejiang Province by dividing the 40 years of reform and opening up into three stages according to relevant research. Through the comparison of Engel coefficient and the proportion of cultural consumption and the analysis of the situation of material and spiritual affluence, it is concluded that in the government-promoted stage (1978-1991), the material affluence of rural residents has been greatly improved, but the increase in spiritual affluence of urban and rural residents is not rapid; in the government-market dual-promoted stage (1992-2012), the material and spiritual affluence of both urban and rural residents has been increased rapidly; in the multiple forces synergistically promoted stage (2013 to present), the material life of urban and rural residents has been further enriched, and the spiritual affluence of rural residents is further improved. However, the high cost of living of urban residents makes cultural consumption expenditure greatly reduced, leading to a decrease in the cultural consumption expenditure of urban residents. According to the development experience of foreign developed countries and the practical experience of Zhejiang Province, this paper proposes the promotion mechanism of spiritual civilization construction in terms of building a multi-agent synergy mechanism, strengthening cultural confidence, developing multi-dimensional education, and innovating propaganda and education. |
