Linlin Xu, received the B.A.Sc. degree in Geomatics engineering, the M.A.Sc. degree in Geodesy, and the Ph.D. degree in Remote Sensing from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 2007, 20010, and 2014, respectively. Currently, he is an Associated Professor with the School of Land Science and Technology, China University of Geosciences, Beijing. He has authored refereed journal and conference papers, as well as patents, in various fields, such as hyperspectral imaging, satellite remote sensing, image processing, machine learning. His research interests include machine learning, deep learning and computer vision, with a focus on remote sensing image processing and analysis such as image registration, image denoising and reconstruction, image super-resolution, image segmentation and classification, spectral unmixing, endmember extraction, and change detection.
