Design of College English Teaching Model under the Background of Cultural Awareness
Abstract
teaching model which are not stimulating students’ initiatives and interests in learning. Therefore, college English teaching models and methods urgently need to change. The results highlight that the cultivation of cultural and language awareness in college English teaching, require
teachers with intercultural communication skills and higher cultural literacy, emphasis the combination of cultural awareness and knowledge
in college English design, and utilize diverse teaching methods to stimulate students’ interests in learning. This paper takes language and cultural awareness as an example to explore the design of college English teaching model under the background of cultural awareness.
