Abstract

With the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence(AI) technology, Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) technology has gradually become a research hotspot in the field of education. This paper focuses on the teaching of programming courses in higher vocational colleges and explores the application of AIGC technology. Firstly, it elaborates on the current situation of programming courses in higher vocational colleges, including problems such as lagging teaching content, single teaching mode, and insufficient learning support. Then, it analyzes in detail the various application methods of AIGC in programming course teaching, such as the generation and optimization of teaching resources, intelligent tutoring and answering, assistance in teaching cases and project practice, optimization of the teaching process, and the stimulation of students’ interest and innovative thinking. At the same time, it expounds the advantages of AIGC application, such as improving teaching efficiency, enhancing learning experience, promoting educational equity, and cultivating innovation ability. However, the application of AIGC also faces problems such as over-reliance, academic integrity, technical limitations, and data security and privacy. Therefore, this paper proposes countermeasures such as strengthening teacher training, establishing regulatory mechanisms, focusing on the cultivation of students’ qualities, and optimizing the AIGC system. The conclusion points out that AIGC technology has broad prospects in the teaching of programming courses in higher vocational colleges, and it requires the joint efforts of all parties to give full play to its positive role and promote the high-quality development of programming education.
