Measurement and Pedagogical Application of Group Cohesion in Cooperative Learning of College English Teaching
Abstract

measurement, focusing on indices of interpersonal status, cohesiveness, and dispersion. Pedagogically, cohesion measurement informs group
formation, task allocation, and instructional interventions, supporting sustained cooperation and effective language use. The study highlights
cohesion as both an analytical and pedagogical tool, contributing to the improvement of learners’ language proficiency, teamwork skills, and
confidence in communication.
