The Exploration on Development Situation and Problems of OTEC

Xina Wang

As is known to us that the ocean contains plentiful ocean energy. As one of clean energy sources, the ocean thermal energy has the characteristic of stability compared with tidal and wave energy. This paper introduces the principle of Oceanic Thermal Electricity Conversion (OTEC) as well as comprehensively summaries the development bottleneck and the compensation measures.
