Ping Wang, Youzhi Zhao, Wenci Ding

Abstract

With the increase of government investment in sea-related subjects and marine industry, Chinese universities begin to offer bachelor's degree in marine science. Two objectives of Marine science education and training have been set up in order to establish a reasonable basis for postgraduate research and enable students to achieve full employment. In this discipline, short-term learning courses, summer classes and mini-scientific research can be conducted to improve the overall level of course learning, so as to meet the national demand for maritime talents based on the two educational objectives.
