Development of College Common English Teachers in Higher Vocational Colleges from the Perspective of ESP

Abstract


The reforms of vocational education in China are making steady progresses. college common English teaching in higher vocational colleges is constantly reforming and innovating in order to meet the needs of social development. ESP teaching theory provides a direction for the reform of college common English teaching in higher vocational colleges. This article discusses the development of higher vocational college common English teachers and the realization of their own professional development under the ESP horizon and put forward the path for the development of the team construction and teaching material writing in order to improve the quality of college common English teaching and train more complex technical talents to meet the requirements of social development.
