An Empirical Study on the Effectiveness of Thematic Approach of Liberal Arts Education in English Teaching in China

Abstract


The concept of liberal arts education was introduced from abroad. It effectively integrated the concept of liberal arts education with English education and produced a variety of educational methods and skills on the basis of social science teaching, making the teaching diversified and innovative. The concept of general education emphasizes the learning attitude of students, who can actively learn English knowledge and promote the humanistic nature of English teaching. In the process of imparting knowledge, teachers should break the traditional teaching concept and thinking mode, improve and perfect the English teaching mode, improve the teaching level of teachers and obtain good English teaching results.
