Discussion on Ideological and Political Education in Colleges and Universities from the Perspective of Chinese Excellent Traditional Cultural Heritage

Abstract

The outstanding culture inherited from China for thousands of years is the spiritual wealth shared by all human beings. It includes both the cultural connotation in the traditional sense and the fruits of the development of modern civilization. All these are the ideological basis for inheriting and developing Marxism, and also the foundation of ideological and political education in the new period. Ideological and political education must constantly enrich its spiritual connotation, making it more cultural, spiritual, and intellectual. This article analyzes the importance of ideological and political education under the current situation.
