Exploration of the Ideological and Political Teaching Path of College English Courses in Private Universities under the Three-wide Education

Abstract


This article is based on the rich connotation of the concept of “Three-wide Education”, and explores the relationship between this concept and college English education in private universities. It is believed that there is sufficient room for integration between the two, which means that the current private universities should explore the path of ideological and political teaching approaches in English courses, thereby strengthening the ideological and political education functions of college English education by improving the ideological and political quality of college English teachers, enhancing the ideological and political teaching ability of college English teachers, and in-depth exploration and transformation of college English courses. Starting from the three dimensions of the ideological and political elements, the ideological and political elements can be subtly integrated into college English teaching.
