A Commentary Study on Integration of Ideological, Political Courses into College English

Abstract


This paper makes a commentary study on the integration of courses for ideological and political education into college English based on the 363 papers which have been obtained by searching the Chinese translation of “integration of courses for ideological and political education into college English” as subject words on the website https: //www.cnki.net/. This paper is aimed to provide a general view of the relevant studies and thus a direction for future study. A review of the papers show that the present studies mainly focus on the necessity, feasibility, problems and means of implementation of the integration of courses for ideological and political education into college English. More empirical studies should be carried out and more systematic studies on the part of teachers and students should be done in the future.
