Abstract

With the deepening of vocational education teaching reform, in the practice of mental health education in higher vocational
colleges, teachers have gradually realized the importance of adapting to the development of the new era and reforming teaching work.
Mental health education in higher vocational colleges should actively change the teaching mode, improve the students' awareness of active
learning, pay attention to the development of practical teaching, and cultivate high-quality professional talents. Based on this, this paper will
focus on strengthening the mental health education in higher vocational colleges in the new period to carry out research.
