The application of Chinese traditional culture in pattern design
Abstract
Pattern is an important part in the fi eld of traditional Chinese art, is the majority of working people combined with the
reality o f life to create the form of beauty, with rich connotation and good meaning. Rich and colorful auspicious patterns exist in costume
embroidery, paper-cut, architectural sculpture, etc., and are also widely used in contemporary advertising, commodity promotion and other
fi elds. Under the background of vigorously promoting the traditional excellent culture, the traditional patterns gradually reappeared vigorous
vitality. This paper explores the application of traditional Chinese culture in the design of patterns, expounds the application signifi cance
of the combination of the two, explores the expression methods of traditional Chinese culture in patterns, and fi nally explores the specifi c
design application based on the application significance and expression methods, hoping to provide valuable reference for relevant
