On Education Function and Implementation Path of University Volunteer Service
Abstract
Volunteer service activities can well train students’ social responsibility, practical ability, and establish students’ correct
values. Therefore, exploring the effective implementation of volunteer service has gradually become the focus of many colleges and
universities. In the new period, colleges and universities need to deeply explore the education function of volunteer service in the
development, through gradually changing the concept of education, improving the system guarantee, innovative work mode, etc., to build
the education pattern under the new period, and eff ectively promote the development of volunteer service education work. This paper studies
the education function and implementation path of volunteer service in colleges and universities, and puts forward corresponding views.
