Practice and exploration of comprehensive English teaching reform in higher vocational colleges from the perspective of “curriculum ideology and politics”
Abstract
direction in the fi eld of education, vocational education is no exception. The core of curriculum ideological and political education is to
integrate ideological and political education into the professional curriculum, promote the organic integration of ideological and political
education and professional education, and imperceptibly achieve the eff ect of ideological and political education. For English teaching in
higher vocational colleges, promoting the course of ideological and political construction can not only meet the needs of students’ language
skills, but also promote their overall development. In view of this, this paper briefl y summarizes the signifi cance of the reform of integrated
English teaching in higher vocational colleges from the perspective of curriculum ideology and politics, and puts forward specifi c teaching
reform strategies, hoping to eff ectively improve the teaching quality of integrated application in higher vocational colleges and promote the
long-term development of higher vocational education.
