A study on the transformation of female Role Images in films adapted from Li Bihua’s novels
Abstract
Many of Hong Kong female writer Li Bihua’s novels have been adapted into films, and these films have achieved a
certain success. From the perspective of shaping female characters, this paper compares and analyzes the diff erent ways of shaping female
characters in the original works and the fi lms, aiming to explore the similarities and diff erences between literary language and fi lm language,
as well as the methods of adapting literature in fi lms, in order to provide useful suggestions for the combination of literature and fi lm.
