Abstract


Under the background of the new era, with the rapid development of social economy, innovative talents have become the
focus of attention of society and industry. In this context, geolog ical colleges and universities should adapt to the characteristics of the
development of The Times, take new technologies, new industries and new forms as a breakthrough in the development of education and
training talents, and cultivate high-quality compound talents. At the same time, in the face of the new situation of the development of The
Times, geological colleges and universities should make clear the real needs of society and industry, and identify the development goals
and the direction of training talents. By analyzing the opportunities and challenges faced by geological colleges and universities, geological
colleges and universities should actively explore the path of talent training in the new era.
