A Study on Case-driven Mathematics Teaching Model in Higher Vocational Colleges

Abstract


With the in-depth implementation of the national strategies for invigorating China through science and education, developing
a quality work force, the innovation-driven development, educational reform has become an inevitable outcome of social development.
Higher vocational colleges, as important bases for cultivating high-quality skilled talents, fi nd the reform of their mathematics teaching
model particularly crucial. Case-driven teaching, as an innovative teaching method, strengthens the interaction between students and teachers
by introducing real-world cases, expands students’ thinking, and enhances their learning interest and innovative capabilities. This paper
conducts an in-depth analysis of the current issues in the case teaching of mathematics in higher vocational colleges and proposes specifi c
strategies and suggestions, aiming to provide a reliable reference for the reform of mathematics teaching in higher vocational education.
