On the integration of secondary vocational English teaching and ideological and Political Education under the concept of “curriculum ideological and political education”

Abstract


in the new era, the society has put forward new requirements for the ideological and political education of secondary
vocational school curriculum. We should pay attention to the ideological and political education throughout the whole process of education
and realize the whole process of education. English is an important course in the secondary vocational teaching system. It has the
characteristics of long class hours and rich teaching resources. It has certain advantages in the implementation of c ourses and ideological
and political education. In this regard, English teachers in secondary vocational schools should pay attention to constantly consolidating
the teaching status of secondary vocational English, reform the ideological and political teaching of English courses through diversifi ed
methods, and promote the eff ective integration of English teaching and ideological and political education, so as to continuously expand the
scope of students’ knowledge, promote students’ access to a large amount of knowledge, and promote the development of students’ political
literacy. Based on this, this paper analyzes the integration strategy of secondary vocational English teaching and ideological and Political
Education under the concept of “curriculum ideological and political education”, in order to provide reference for educators.
