Abstract
music teaching is a subject with strong theoretical and applied characteristics. Vocal music teaching should make full use of the rich
music resources in the region and be guided by the reform of MOOC teaching, which is conducive to cultivating students’ autonomy in
learning, improving the eff ect of vocal music teaching, and further protecting and inheriting the local songs of ethnic minorities in Guangxi.
Therefore, this paper takes the source, connotation and course characteristics of MOOC as the breakthrough point, focuses on the ways of
teaching reform of Guangxi local song vocal music MOOC, further studies the application limitations caused by the characteristics of vocal
music discipline, and puts forward the application optimization strategy of MOOC in vocal music teaching.
