Family co parenting of children with special needs and its impact on parenting stress of mothers and children’s development

Lan Liu, Lulu Yue

Abstract

for the education of children with special needs, family co parenting has a very important position. For some special groups
of children, they are not much diff erent from normal children in other aspects except some defi ciencies in some physical functions, but their
education is always a problem (1). Through the research on the family co parenting of special children and its impact on mothers’ parenting
pressure and children’s development, the author found that mothers accounted for more in the family co education of special children, while
fathers participated less. Therefore, the current situation of family co parenting of special children has a great impact on mothers’ parental
feelings and children’s self-development, because in the emotional dependence of mothers, CO parenting is a subconscious cooperative
behavior, but if parents have diff erences or even confl icts in education, it will put great pressure on mothers, thus aff ecting the results of
parenting, It will even aff ect children’s mood, ability and recovery.
