On the Role of English Morning Reading Contest in English Teaching
Abstract
However, there are few speaking environments in College English teaching. As an eff ective supplement to English classroom teaching,
English morning reading is a relatively simple and eff ective way to learn English well. It can not only enable students to acquire English
language sense and master English pronunciation and grammar in a relatively relaxed environment, cultivate students’ language sense,
help understand and remember, and increase language intake, It can also cultivate students to form good learning habits. Improve the
comprehensive application ability of English from all aspects, so as to improve the teaching quality of College English course and create a
good style of study and school spirit. Starting from the English morning reading contest, this paper discusses the role of English morning
reading in English teaching, and analyzes its experience combined with English teaching.
