Abstract

This paper discusses the development of the major of economic statistics in the era of big data and the importance of the
construction of practical teaching system for the major of economic statistics in colleges and universities, and puts forward some strategies
for the construction of practical teaching in the aspects of curriculum setting, teaching methods, examination system, innovation incentive
mechanism and base construction. Through the way of practical teaching, students can better grasp the professional knowledge and practical
skills, improve the employment competitiveness of graduates.
