Abstract

Under the guidance of the concept of green energy, China’s economy is transitioning to low-carbon energy. In February 2021,
The State Council issued the Outline of the National Comprehensive Three-dimensional Transportation Network Planning, which clearly
points out that carbon dioxide emissions in the transportation sector should peak as soon as possible. Along with the construction of carbon
neutrality goal, the new energy vehicle industry has received wide attention, and the new energy vehicle industry is of great signifi cance
for realizing the “double carbon” goal. At present, the development of China’s new energy automobile industry has shown some obvious
characteristics, according to the development data of the new energy automobile industry, we can also analyze the development trend of the
new energy automobile industry. This paper explores the development of China’s new energy automobile industry under the background
of carbon neutrality, analyzes the positive signifi cance of carbon neutrality for the development of new energy industry, and analyzes the
characteristics and trend of the development of China’s new energy automobile industry under the background of carbon neutrality, hoping
to provide some ideas for China’s carbon neutral target construction and the development of new energy automobile industry.
