A Brief Discussion on the Reform of Marxist Philosophical Principles Textbooks
Abstract
The article explores the issues with traditional Marxist philosophy textbooks and emphasizes the necessity of reform. These textbooks fail to fully capture the essence of the original works and are based on the Soviet model, lacking innovation. Scholars’ introspection on these textbooks has initiated reform to align with China’s socialism and reform policies. Philosophy should engage with contemporary challenges, focusing on modernization, practice, reality, and problem awareness. The reform of traditional philosophy textbooks is inevitable; it requires refl ection and development to advance society and guide socialist construction, achieving an organicintegration of Marxism with China’s development.
