A Preliminary Study on the Teaching System of Aesthetic Education in Coal Universities Led by the “Four Beauties of Mines”

Abstract


Aesthetic education in coal universities is weaker than in art and comprehensive colleges, as it lacks a clear core philosophy to guide it, resulting in the current situation of “no target” and “focus on specialization but not beauty”. In the light of China’s “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals” and “green development”, the aesthetic education of coal universities needs to be innovated in accordance with the requirements of the new era. According to the undergraduate teaching objectives and professional needs of coal universities, the core concept of aesthetic education in this paper is to establish the “four beauties of the mine” as the core concept of the teaching of aesthetic education; the goals of aesthetic has been upgraded from the original basic quality level and innovative thinking level to a new level - the ecological level and the humanistic level. In other words, the aim of teaching aesthetic education is to enhance students’ aesthetic ability, humanistic qualities, ecological consciousness and innovation ability; on this basis, the innovative exploration of the teaching system of aesthetic education is carried out, and the curriculum is set up in a way that combines aesthetic education and other teaching courses, with a build of a four-dimensional platform for teaching aesthetic education.
