The Integration of STEAM Education and Traditional Education Systems:Complementary Advantages and Innovative Development

Abstract


In recent years,the discussion about STEAM education has become increasingly heated,which combines science,technology,engineering,mathematics and the arts in an interdisciplinary and comprehensive way of thinking,so that students can gain a well-rounded ability in learning.It not only focuses on the cultivation of students’skills,but also pays more attention to the cultivation of students’innovative thinking and problem-solving ability.Currently,we are experiencing an”educational revolution,”which is not simply changing the textbooks and teaching methods we use,but completely changing the face of education.What skills will the new generation of children need to master in the future society?They will become the main force of the future society,so it is necessary to pay more attention to their cultivation of innovation ability and comprehensive quality.Therefore,how to train talents to meet the needs of future development is an urgent problem in front of us.And STEAM education provides us with a new solution.
