Abstract

To promote the harmonious coexistence between man and nature is the inevitable requirement to realize the Chinese modernization with a huge population scale. This is a scientific choice made by our Party based on the basic national conditions of large population, large land and abundant resources, the changing trend of population elements and the law of population development. To build the huge modernization of population size rich in ecological implication, we must adhere to the green sustainable development and present a solid foundation of high-quality economic development with the green development of population; adhere to the ecological governance model of multiple subjects, transform the remarkable feature of huge population size into the signifi cant advantage of ecological governance; insist on constantly meeting the needs of the people for better ecological life, and take the construction of high-quality livelihood as the starting point and goal of promoting the modernization of huge population scale in the new era.
