On the Effective Strategies of Integrating Ideological and Political Education into College English Teaching

Abstract


Under the background of quality education, university education always takes “moral education” as its purpose, and cultivates a group of high-quality talents with ideals, aspirations and skills. College English is a compulsory course in every university, and it is also an important part of the current national ideological and political system. In this regard, college English classroom should be based on the actual needs of students’ age, development and growth, formulate and implement suitable English courses to ensure that the quality and efficiency of English classroom teaching can be continuously improved. In the process of English teaching, emotional education for students can make them have a deeper understanding of English knowledge and help to improve their English communicative competence. Under this premise, this paper makes an in-depth analysis of English teaching, and integrates the content of curriculum thought into it, and puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies according to its specific feasibility, so as to improve the students’ ability in all aspects.
